As part of the Million Solar Roofs Program, California has set a goal to create 3,000 megawatts of new, solar-produced electricity by 2017 - moving the state toward a cleaner energy future and helping lower the cost of solar systems for consumers.
What that means to you is that a generous rebate from your utility company is available when you go solar. We will deduct this amount from the final sale price of your system so your rebate is immediate. Click here to see the current California Solar Incentive Funding Availability.
In addition to this rebate, the federal government provides a tax credit of 30% of the purchase price for residential and commercial installations. For commercial installations, the remaining cost is depreciated using a 5 year accelerated depreciation schedule (see your tax advisor for details) providing more savings.
Since each utility has its own rebate structure, contact us to go over your particular benefits. |
