Concerned about the cost?
We can arrange financing for this purchase that will make you wonder why you didn't do this sooner. Here is a real life example...
Customer Phil needed $30,000 to buy a solar electric system. We introduced him to our lender and 24 hours later he placed an order with us. He didn't have to put up any money, and received an extra $10,000 which he placed in the bank. Customer Phil is getting the money he needs for his new solar system and keeping his cash in the bank, getting a new mortgage at a rate far better than he has today and he’s saving $150 a month on his electricity and another $90 a month on his mortgage. Phil said, "he was so excited that he stayed up most the night thinking about his new solar system and what a great deal he’s getting!"
The typical solar electric system
The typical solar electric system is composed of solar panels installed on the roof and an inverter that converts the electricity generated by the sun into electricity that can be used by the appliances in the home. When the solar panels generate more electricity than the home can use, the electricity is “sold” to the electric utility company in the form of a credit, that is, your electric meter actually spins backwards. In the evening, when the solar panels are not generating electricity, you receive power from the electric utility and “buy back” the current that was generated during the day. This process is called net-metering. Since your utility company will not buy any excess electricity over a 12 month period, the ideal solar electric system will generate about 95% of your electrical needs.
For those concerned with power outages or who have life support equipment, a battery backup is added to the solar power system to insure an adequate emergency supply of electricity at all times.
There are several reasons to go solar. First of all, the technology has advanced dramatically in recent years. Then you will discover that the price is comparable to a bathroom upgrade. The monthly savings, especially for people who use air conditioning, will easily justify the investment.
We went into the solar electric business because we realized it was time to act, not just talk, about making a difference in the environment and we all need to take responsibility for the planet that we will leave our children and their children. |
